Kids Yoga
New six week session Fridays, 4:15-5:15, Beginning Beginning February 24 through March 30, with Amanda Marchica, registered Yoga Alliance Teacher. For ages 7-10. As the temperature drops and your cheeks become rosy, Come inside from the cold and get warm and cozy. You’ll learn yoga poses, play games and more. Arm Balance Workshop
with Ellen Kaplow. Saturday, March 31, 1:30–3:30 p.m. Demystify arm balances and venture into the yogic world of flight, balance, surrender and strength. Learn how to make intimidating postures accessible and thereby empowering. In this workshop, we will focus on and explore the foundation of arm balancing—the technicalities of leaving the ground on your hands and the playful mindset needed to maintain balance. You will establish and strengthen your core so you can move forward with confidence and stability. Fledglings will learn how to enter these postures, and advanced practitioners will experiment with new entries and ways to spice up their practice. Come expecting to smile, laugh, fall down, get up, try again, and leave with a refreshed spirit and richer understanding of these amazing postures and your untapped potential. Cost. $45.
