(Transport can be set up for you from the airport to the hotel. Ask for details.) Hotel Nabalam — Maya Haven on the beach is located on (and we mean ON!) the North Beach, our favorite beach on Isla Mujeres. In fact our favorite beach — anywhere — period.
The rooms are spacious and chic and there are squishy beds on the beach for your seaside lounging pleasure.
If you like to gaze at the Caribbean blue while you nibble on guacamole (or the yummiest fish tacos, etc.), enjoy Nabalam’s fabulous beach restaurant. If you’d like to get a taste of local cuisine, the town is walking distance from the hotel. (Just don’t let that stop you from renting a golf cart to explore!)

With Donna Bacich. Sunday, March 22, 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Yoga Nidra is a highly powerful ancient meditation technique originated from the Tantras. It is the scientific way to eliminate the root cause of all the negativities. In yoga nidra, you not only enjoy the complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation but also get to explore the tremendous powers hidden in the deeper layers of subconscious and In the deep relaxation state of yoga nidra, the mind is in a state between sleep and wakefulness and its receptivity is many times more than its receptivity in wakeful state. The secret is that the subconscious mind is at front in this state while the conscious mind takes the back seat. The subconscious mind is a very obedient disciple and immediately carries out the orders that you put to it. By practicing yoga nidra you can completely train your subconscious mind. Then the ordinary conscious mind and intellect will follow the suit. The subconscious and the unconscious mind are the most powerful forces in the human being. In yoga nidra you learn how to access these powerful forces to gain knowledge, cure diseases, increase creativity, and to realize your true self.unconscious mind. Refine Your Flow
with Chrissy Carter. Sunday, April 12, 1:00 – 3:30 pm. In the Bhagavad Gita, yoga is defined as "skill in action”. Skillful action can be cultivated on the mat by connecting to the motivation behind our practice. What is the origin of our actions? Why do we do what we do? Does our approach reflect our greater purpose, in asana and in life? There’s no better place to explore our actions than in repetitive movement. Sun Salutations provide us with a very clear opportunity to examine the why behind the what. Join senior teacher and teacher trainer Chrissy Carter to explore alignment principles that will strengthen your flow and refine your body awareness. You will learn to identify the origin of action for each transition within Sun Salutations, as well as exercises to wake up the body and stay present when it may feel tempting to practice on autopilot. This workshop will help you cultivate an appreciation for mindful movement and a better understanding of how to practice skill in action on your mat and in your life
