What is yoga?
The word yoga means to bring together; to unite. A method of training designed to lead to integrationor union. The ultimate goal is the linking of the individual soul to universal spirit.
What should I wear in class?
We recommend comfortable exercise clothing and bare feet.
What should I bring to class?
A yoga mat is necessary. If you do not have one, rentals are available. A hand towel is also helpful.
Can I eat before a class?
We recommend that you do not eat a meal less than two hours before class.
Is yoga just for the young?
No! Anyone, regardless of age, can practice Yoga and receive the benefits. As yoga is an individual practice, growth will occur at your own pace.
What if I can't do all the postures?
There is no perfect posture! To begin practicing all you need bring is an open mind and a desire. With time and patience, all will come.
