Q: What is yoga?
A: The word yoga means to bring together; to unite.
A method of training designed to lead to integration
or union. The ultimate goal is the linking of the
individual soul to universal spirit.


Q: What should I wear in class?
A: We recommend comfortable exercise clothing
and bare feet.


Q: What should I bring to class?
A: A yoga mat is necessary. If you do not have one,
rentals are available. A hand towel is also helpful.


Q: Can I eat before a class?
A: We recommend that you do not eat a meal at least 2 hours before class.

Q: Is yoga just for the young?
A: No! Anyone, regardless of age, can practice Yoga and receive the benefits. As yoga is an individual practice, growth will occur at your own pace.

Q: What if I can't do all the postures?

A: There is no perfect posture! To begin practicing all you need bring is an open mind and a desire. With time and patience, all will come.
